The update utility is designed to download and manually save updates and modules of the Kaspersky Lab’s applications into a separate folder.
With the help of the utility you can download updates for any Kaspersky Lab’s applications installed either in the corporate network or at home. Once downloaded the updates and/or autopatches can be saved onto a flash-carrier, in a local folder or network folder connected as a disc to the computer file system.
The update utility runs under Microsoft Windows operating systems and until recently could only be configured and launched through the command prompt (the necessary information is provided in the articles).
To simplify the utility management a GUI has been developed for the update utility. To manage the utility through the GUI, download the archive with the GUI, unpack it in the setup folder of Updater.exe and run the file KasperskyUpdater.exe.
